TIM HARMON

PASTOR

Tim earned a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Vernon Nazarene University and a Master of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary. He was ordained as an

elder in 1990 and has served in the Church of the Nazarene since 1987.

He has been the Lead Pastor of Perry Church of the Nazarene since 2000. From his youth, Tim felt God’s call to preach the good news of the Kingdom of God and the Lordship of Jesus Christ. He considers it a privilege to shepherd God’s people toward Christlikeness and serve alongside fellow believers at Perry.

Tim and his wife, Sandy, love serving the church together. Outside of ministry, Tim enjoys time with his grandchildren, playing golf, and cheering for The Ohio State Buckeyes.

STACY SMITH

ADMINISTRATIVE PASTOR

Stacy earned both a Bachelor and Master of Arts in Communication from Michigan State University. Sixteen years later, she responded to a call to ministry and prepared for ordination through ministry programs at Nazarene Bible College and Northwest Nazarene University. She was ordained as an elder in 2022.

Stacy joined the Perry staff in 2005 and has served as Administrative Pastor since 2019. After coming to faith at Perry when her children were young, she developed a deep love for the church as a place of family, sacred connection, and transformation. In her role, she uses her gifts of administration and teaching to help the church be a light in both the lives of God’s people and the surrounding community.

Stacy enjoys trying new crafts—though she admits she’s not great at most of them. Her favorites include sewing, crocheting, gardening, cooking, and thrifting. She also loves reading and spending time with her family.

KYLIE ALLEMAN

WORSHIP PASTOR

Kylie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Worship Arts with a minor in Intercultural Studies from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2015. She was ordained as a deacon in the Church of the Nazarene in 2023.

Kylie has served as Worship Pastor since 2019. Called to ministry as a teenager, she has always loved music and the way God uses it to speak to His people. She considers it a sacred honor to lead the church in worship, ushering God’s people into His presence through song.

In her free time, Kylie enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

AMY BARBER

CARE AND CONNECTIONS PASTOR

After attending Bronson School of Nursing and Western Michigan University, Amy earned her Registered Nurse license. She later completed ministry preparation training through Nazarene Bible College in 2023 and is pursuing ordination as an elder.

Amy began serving as Care and Connections Pastor in 2024. She feels called to share the same comfort she has received from the Lord with others, especially during times of grief, illness, or crisis. Her passion is to

walk alongside people with biblical encouragement, connecting them to the church community and pointing them to Christ.

Amy enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, playing games, and watching movies. She and her husband like to travel. They’ve also rediscovered their love of tent camping, especially near Lake Superior.

AARON BRAWNER

YOUTH PASTOR

Aaron graduated from Perry High School in 2002 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministry from Olivet Nazarene University in 2006. He was ordained as an elder in 2013.

Since 2011, Aaron has served as Perry’s Youth Pastor. He first felt called to ministry during his freshman year of college. Through working with teens, encouragement from leaders, and God’s prompting, he embraced his call to youth ministry. Over the years, God has confirmed that calling as Aaron has seen students come to faith and grow into lifelong followers of Jesus—a joy he considers the heart of his ministry.

Aaron enjoys time with his family, friends, and church community. His interests include being outdoors, hiking, going to the beach, photography, playing and listening to music (especially leading worship), reading, games, and tackling home projects.

SARAH BAWKS

PASTOR TO FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN

Sarah earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Grand Valley State University. After responding to a call to ministry, she completed ministry preparation through Nazarene Bible College and was ordained as an elder in 2023.

Since 2019, Sarah has served as Pastor to Families with Children. Inspired by Jesus’ teaching that children should not be hindered from coming to Him, she believes kids are fully capable of responding to the Holy

Spirit and growing as disciples of Christ. She loves their eagerness, openness, and joy in learning about God and sharing His love with others.

Sarah enjoys baking, being outdoors, and making memories with her family..
